Monday Motivation: Things I would love to learn to do.

Hi readers!

I haven’t blogged for a while because life has thrown a few obstacles in my way. I’m sorry, but I’m now planning to blog more regular.

1. Learn the keyboard- I’m a very musical person, so I would love to learn to play the keyboard.

2. Embroidery- It’s so decorative and pretty!

3. Sew- In a world of fast fashion, I would love to learn how to sew.

4. Draw/Paint- I can be a shocker at drawing I’m sure practice makes perfect.

5. Diamond Art- I’m a bit of a magpie, so putting rhinestones on a picture seems fun to me.

6. Sign Language- Great to learn and never know when you might need it.

7. Learn another Language- I believe this is a great way to exercise your mind.

Thank you for reading, I hope I’ve give readers some ideas.

If you put your mind to it, you can!

Take care Lauren x

9th January: Book review. The Skylark’s Secret.

Hi, readers,

So that’s the first book of 2021 read.

This book is included, in kindle unlimited.

The genre of this book is historical fiction.

The theme of this book is a daughter on a journey of discovery of her mother’s life during world war two. Also, a love story that faces adversity. There’s also a lot of cheerful sections, and lots of characters you can relate to. This book is a journey from start to finish.

It’s a great read, with some fantastic writing by Flora Valpy. I would recommend this book.

Thank you for reading.

December 23rd: Things you can do on Christmas Eve.

Hi readers,

Happy Christmas Eve Eve everyone! Here are some ideas for activities you can do tomorrow.

Bake- Bake some Christmas treats such as mince pies or cookies.

Watch a Christmas film– There are so many to chose from, have a relax on a sofa with a Christmas film.

Read– Read some Christmas themed books.

Sing and Listen to Christmas Music- The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.

Do some Christmas craft- Colour or create something Christmasy. Papercraft or knitting are my personal favourites.

Have a walk around the local area and see lights on houses- I love seeing the Christmas lights around the Local area.

Do something charitable– Reflect on those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Wish everyone you know a Merry Christmas! This year, it’s so important to keep in touch with others.

Thank you for reading.

Take care Lauren

Christmas Movie Netflix

December 8th: Holidate on Netflix.

Hello readers,

I discovered a new movie on Netflix earlier on, and I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve found Netflix has added some pretty good movies this month. It helps that I love Christmas films.

Emma Roberts stars as the main character in this film. It’s about strangers fed up with dating, who agree to be each other’s dates during holidays.

Even though it didn’t have great reviews, I still enjoyed this film. It was a feel-good film that I would watch again.

Have you watched this movie? what are your thoughts?

Thank you for reading Lauren x

November 14th: £55 million raised for Children in Need 2020

Hello readers!

Was delighted to find out that Children in Need managed, to raise a whopping £55 million last night.

It’s a record-breaker for the most money raised apparently. One positive from coronavirus, I think is its making people more charitable and grateful for what they have.

I’m sure the money will go to deserving causes. Every penny makes a difference when it comes to charity.

I assume Joe Wicks is taking a rest after his 24-hour session. He’s a money-raising machine! £1.5 million raised.

Enjoy your Saturday everyone.
