1st January 2021: First blog post of the year, and my goals for 2021.

Hi readers,

So here it is it’s 2021 and my first blog post. I’m excited about what this year entails.

Last year I didn’t set any goals, so I thought it would get the year to a good start. Here a few ideas that I would like to achieve during this year,

  • Blog– Practice and hopefully get better at blogging.
  • Drink water- My goal is to drink a litre of water a day.
  • Read more– Set myself more free time for reading.
  • Practice knitting– Find some knitting projects and practice.
  • Exercise- Set myself an achievable workout plan.

Have you set any goals for 2021?

How things are at the moment, getting through the day seems like a goal achieved. Take every day as it comes is something I strongly live by.

December 31st: Goodbye 2020 and Happy New Year!

Hi readers,

Just wanted to do a quick post to say Happy New year!

This year I’m going to have a quiet new year’s eve. I’m going to watch television, put on a skincare facemask and maybe a Malibu and lemonade (or two)

December 30: New Year Look Back Tag!

Hi readers,

I think most people have had an unexpected year this year. I thought this blog post would be a final reflection of 2020, then a move on and a clean slate. Also, I want to pick up some postives so I don’t think this year was all bad.

What did you do in 2020 that you’ve never done before?

I travelled to France and stayed in Paris for my twenty-first birthday. Also, I visited Disneyland for the first time.

What was last year’s New Year Resolution, how did you do?

I can’t remember setting resolutions, but I know that I was desperate to pass my driving test. After my sixth attempt, I finally passed during lockdown August 2020.

What would you like to have accomplished in 2020 that you didn’t get to?

Getting through 2020 itself feels like an accomplishment to me. I believe all should focus on what we have accomplished this year, and how well we have dealt with the circumstances.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?

It’s a difficult one its either getting my driving licence or passing my first Open University module.

What was the best thing you bought?

It’s going to strange weird, but knitting supplies. This year I learnt to knit, and it has kept me occupied during this year.

Did you travel anywhere memorable?

Paris in January, it seems like a lifetime ago now. I feel grateful that I did have a holiday this year.

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned last year.

I’ve learnt never take anything or anyone for granted. The everyday things I have missed during lockdown has been a real lesson of how I should always apricate them.

If you could look back on one memory this year you wish you could relive, what would it be?

The memory I would like to relieve is missing my boyfriend’s birthday due to restrictions.

If you could change anything about the year you had, what would it be?

I don’t like this sort of questions. As I would always say I would change something, but would I be the person I am? I believe everything that happens to you is a life lesson.
